THIS PROFESSIONAL 1100°C (2012°F) TOP-LOADING ELECTRICAL VITRIGRAPH KILN WITH 10-LITRE CHAMBER AND A 32-SEGMENT PROGRAMMABLE TEMPERATURE/TIME CONTROLLER HAS BEEN SPECIALLY DESIGNED FOR THE PRODUCTION OF GLASS STRINGERS OR OTHER GLASS PROJECTS.

Glass stringers are thin strands of glass used to create a wide variety of decorative effects and designs in fused and art glass projects. During the heating process, scrap or compatible glass is slowly melted inside the kiln over several hours (typically up to 9 hours) at temperatures of approximately 1030–1050°C (1886–1922°F). Once fully molten, the glass flows through a specially designed opening in the bottom of the kiln and stand, where it can be carefully pulled and shaped while cooling.
With this kiln, you can create twisted, straight, flat, curved, or custom-shaped glass stringers in a wide range of thicknesses before the glass fully hardens. The kiln can be used with many types of compatible glass, including recycled and scrap glass, making it an excellent tool for both artistic creativity and material recycling.
The kiln is fitted with a fully programmable 32-segment (temperature/time step) digital controller, allowing precise management of complex firing schedules. The controller features an advanced over/under-temperature regulation system, ensuring accurate temperature maintenance throughout the entire soaking process for consistent and repeatable results.
