This professional electric muffle kiln is equipped with an advanced 32-segment programmable temperature/time controller and a spacious 20-litre firing chamber, making it ideal for professional studios, laboratories, educational institutions, and industrial applications. Designed for maximum versatility, it is suitable for firing a wide range of materials at temperatures of up to 1300°C (2372°F).

The kiln can be operated in either a horizontal or vertical position, providing greater flexibility for firing objects of various shapes and sizes. It is fitted with four high-performance heating elements, ensuring rapid, even, and reliable heat distribution throughout the chamber.

For enhanced user safety, the kiln incorporates an advanced door safety interlock system that automatically disconnects power to the heating elements whenever the door is opened or not fully closed.

The door features a 16 mm viewing port fitted with a durable stainless steel shutter, allowing the user to safely monitor the firing process without opening the kiln and disturbing the firing cycle.

To deliver exceptional firing accuracy, the kiln is equipped with a digital over-temperature and under-temperature regulation system, which continuously maintains the programmed temperature throughout the entire soaking period for consistent and repeatable results.

An integrated Digital Guard™ smoothing circuit compensates for fluctuations in the electrical supply, providing highly stable controller operation and precise temperature readings. This advanced feature is particularly valuable for professional firing applications where temperature stability is critical, including ceramics, pottery, porcelain, glass fusing, glass annealing, enamelling, heat treatment, Precious Metal Clay (PMC), glazing, composite materials, and laboratory testing.

The 32-segment programmable controller allows complete control of heating rates, cooling rates, soaking times, and automatic firing cycles, enabling complex firing programmes to be stored and repeated with exceptional accuracy and consistency.
