This 950°C (1742°F) electric muffle kiln features a spacious 40-litre chamber and an advanced programmable temperature/time controller, making it an ideal choice for professional laboratories, workshops, schools, universities, research facilities, and industrial heat-treatment applications.

Designed for firing and heat-treating a wide range of materials at temperatures up to 950°C (1742°F), this kiln delivers accurate temperature control, excellent reliability, and consistent firing results.

For enhanced operator safety, the kiln is equipped with an automatic door safety interlock that immediately disconnects power to the heating elements whenever the door is opened or not fully closed, helping to protect the user during operation.

A 16 mm viewing port with a stainless steel sliding shutter is built into the door, allowing you to monitor the firing process without opening the kiln and minimising heat loss.

The programmable controller incorporates a digital over- and under-temperature regulation system, automatically maintaining the programmed temperature throughout the entire soaking (holding) period. This ensures excellent temperature stability, improved process accuracy, and highly repeatable firing results.

To further improve performance, the controller is protected by an advanced digital voltage-stabilising (smoothing) circuit, which helps compensate for fluctuations in the mains power supply. This provides more accurate temperature readings, stable controller operation, and reliable performance during demanding professional firing and heat-treatment applications.
