The **R-500-TS-1240** is a professional 160-litre electric programmable muffle kiln, equipped with a Touch-Screen Wi-Fi programmable temperature/time controller. It is specifically designed for firing a wide range of materials with maximum firing temperatures of up to 1240°C (2264°F), making it ideal for ceramics, pottery, porcelain, glass fusing, enamelling, jewellery, heat treatment, and many laboratory applications.

For enhanced safety, the kiln is fitted with an automatic door safety interlock that immediately disconnects power to the heating elements whenever the door is opened or not fully closed, helping to protect both the operator and the heating elements.

The kiln also features an advanced digital over-temperature and under-temperature protection system, ensuring precise temperature regulation throughout the entire firing and soaking cycle. This allows the programmed temperature to be maintained accurately, producing consistent and repeatable firing results.

To further improve performance, the controller incorporates a digital power stabilisation and smoothing circuit, which minimises the effects of fluctuations in the electrical supply.
